Sculpture 1 Project 1 Paper Sculpture Form

I did this sculptural project on my backyard. This piece is made of poster board and is sitting on a base that is also poster board. This project was for my Sculpture 1 class so we could investigate paper as a medium and also so we could learn to create forms of recognizable objects. Steaming from Charles "Red" Grooms we created these paper sculptures so they gave of a sense of space and form.

Visual Art 1 Project 1 Brut Art

This is a picture of my Brut Art project that I did for my visual art 1 class. I did this on plain sketch book paper with color pencils and a black sharpie for the outlined parts. We did this project to emulate the sculpture and painter Jean Dubuffet so we could learn about using lines, colors, and shapes in many different ways along with abstract shape creation.
